To get to Cedars from Cessnock (from the F3 freeway) Turn onto Wollombi Road - we recommend option 1.

1. From Cessnock -Once on Wollombi Road, turn right onto Mount View Road, follow the road and head south past the Mount View wineries - Savannah Estate, Mount View Estate, Petersons Family Wines, Briar Ridge, further on past Tallavera Grove and Bistro Molines.  Keep going up to Bimbadeen Lookout. About 30 metres after the lookout, turn left onto Mt View Rd and continue for 3.5 k's to Mitchells Road, which will be on your right. Cedars Mount View is the first property on the right - 60 Mitchells Road. The Creek cottage is 70 Mitchells Road (100 metres further along Mitchells Road).

2. From Bellbird - Once on Wollombi Road, keep heading south driving through Bellbird, past the Bellbird Hotel and newsagency, turn right onto Kendall St, follow Kendall St,  the road name changes to  Bimbadeen Road leading upto Bimbadeen Lookout . About 30 metres past Bimbadeen Lookout, turn left onto Mt View Rd.

3. From Millfield - You can drive in through Millfield either from Cessnock along Wollombi Rd, or Sandy Creek Road, or from Wollombi (Route 33 from Peats Ridge). Once you arrive at Millfield, drive over the bridge, and before you get to the village shop and petrol station, turn left onto Mt View Rd and travel for 5k's until you reach Mitchells Road on your left.

For a change of pace and to see panoramic views over the mountain range, exit the F3 freeway  about 15 minutes past the Hawkesberry River, to Route 33 (the official Tourist Drive); follow that route all the way to the historic village of Wollombi.

Stop off at Grays Inn Wollombi for lunch at Panino cafe and restaurant*  (great coffee and small deli as well). Noyce Bros cellar door and RaRa gifts and homewares shop are located next door in the Inn as well.

Continue your scenic drive on Wollombi Road to Mount View (turn left onto Mount View Road at Millfield).  Wollombi Wines and Stonehurst Cedar Creek cellar door are on your way.  *Panino is closed Tuesdays & Wednesdays.
